Arsenal to beat Premier League rivals to sign Brazilian Winger?

The Gunners have found themselves in a difficult situation as Sanchez’s future is still undecided, but the club has now shortlisted a 20-year old to replace the Chilean.

Arsene Wenger has finally decided to give up on Alexis Sanchez and is targeting Bordeaux winger Malcolm in the ongoing transfer window. The Brazilian youngster is a hot property in Europe right now, but Arsenal is reportedly ahead in the race to sign him.

Malcolm to Arsenal?

The reports have suggested that Manchester United and Spurs are also interested in signing the youngster. But The Guardian’s reporter, Fabrizio Romano has suggested that Wenger has made the first move for the player.

“Arsenal have asked info to Bordeaux for the Brazilian winger Malcolm” revealed Romano in his tweet.

Wenger has failed to talk Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil into signing a contract extension at the club. The duo’s contract is set to expire in June 2018 but both are on the radar of various European clubs in the ongoing transfer window.

Malcolm can be a great buy for Arsenal as the Brazilian has scored 7 goals and provided 4 assists in the league so far. The Bordeaux player has also dropped the hints of a move to England by posting a picture of him taking English lessons on Instagram. The Brazilian has also attracted Jose Mourinho and Mauricio Pochettino with his performances.

Which team will bring Malcolm to the Premier League?

The Red Devils are in search of a winger at the club as they prepare for the competition in England and Europe. Spurs on the other hand also need an attacking player at the club to strengthen their squad. The London-based club lacks the depth at the wings, with only Son Heung-min in the top form right now.

Author’s Take:

Malcolm is an amazing player and has a great future ahead. He can add a much-needed spark in the attack at the Emirates Stadium. And it is a well-known fact that Arsene Wenger can turn the young prodigies into a Superstar.
