Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly asked to leave the club after rejecting an unacceptable new contract. The Portuguese international is believed to be angered by the new offer from Madrid.

A hugely worrying news for Real Madrid fans has emerged in connection with Cristiano Ronaldo. Reports from Spanish media sources claim that Ronaldo has decided to leave the Santiago Bernabeu outfit at the end of the season. This decision has come after Ronaldo reportedly rejected Madrid’s new contract offer.

Ronaldo is angry with Madrid’s new proposal and is reportedly ready to leave for a cut-price fee which would be reasonable for Madrid.

Cristiano Ronaldo has opted against new contract

Spanish media outlet Don Balon reported that Ronaldo ‘exploded’ at the new offer from Madrid. They also claim that Madrid’s all time top-scorer cannot stand to remain at the club anymore.

Meanwhile, Spanish football journalist Edu Aguirre who works for Spanish TV station El Chiringuito reports that Ronaldo has informed club president Florentino Perez of his decision.

Aguirre said,“Cristiano has already told the club he wants to leave, he is very angry about the offer of renewal, he considers that he needs more affection, the club does not value him”.

Ronaldo’s love for the club’s fans and his teammates remains the same, however, he is deeply frustrated by the club’s new offer for a contract. He feels undervalued and thinks that the new contract shows how little Madrid value him.

He recently told beIN Sports that he does not intend to sign a new contract. Ronaldo said,”I don’t want to renew. I don’t want to renew. I’m very happy with the contract I have.”

Cristiano Ronaldo has struggled for form all season, managing just one goal in La Liga so far. He recently became a father once again after he and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez gave birth to their daughter Alana Martina.
