Real Madrid are looking to invest big in their squad once again. A revamp looks to be on the way for Los Blancos. Florentino Perez has a history of selling its best players for new stars. It now looks as though he is prepared to spend big and sell his big players as well.Harry Kane has been targeted by Zinedine Zidane’s side as their next ‘Galactico’.
The Englishman will not come cheap. Therefore the Spanish giants are willing to spend some of their big names, in order to fund the purchase of the Tottenham Hotspur forward.
Spanish outlet Diario Gol have reported that Los Blancos are willing to part with Gareth Bale, Luka Modric and Karim Benzema to bring Kane to Madrid.

Spurs demanding big money for Kane
It might seem strange that Real Madrid are prepared to sell such star players at the club. However, given Spurs’ stance on selling their frontman, Perez feels he has no choice but to sell these three players. It is reported that Kane could end up costing a huge fee of £179m.
Given that he is just 24 years of age, his transfer value is quite high at the moment. Harry Kane’s excellent early season form has led to praise from pundits and neutrals alike. Some have even put him in the bracket of top strikers like Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang and Robert Lewandowski.
Such praise has been well earned by Kane, who was recently also nominated for the Ballon d’Or. One of the few players from the Premier League who was part of the list released by France Football.
Perez prepared to give in to Spurs’ Kane demands
Considering the fact that Harry is now one of the world’s most sought-after players, it is only natural that Perez would be willing to meet any transfer price for him.
Swapping Bale for the Englishman would make perfect sense. The Welsh winger is still loved by Spurs fans and they would surely welcome him back with open arms. However, his injury record in Spain puts his ability to cope with Premier League football into question.
Therefore, Perez also aims to add Benzema and Modric to the equation. The Frenchman’s status at Madrid has never been solid and he’s always been linked with a move away. As for the Croatian international, who will soon be 33 years of age, there is doubt over how much longer he can stay fit and maintain his status as one of the best midfielders at the moment.
It is Perez’s thinking that young midfielders like Dani Ceballos and Mateo Kovacic will be ready to fill in for Modric if the former Spurs midfielder departs.
It is quite surprising to see that Madrid would be ready to let go of three of their biggest players in recent history. Modric has elevated his status to become one of the world’s best, at Madrid. Benzema has been an invaluable asset in Madrid’s frontline for a while now. Bale has had his injury issues and has largely failed to justify the world-record transfer that brought him to Madrid.
While Kane is certainly an excellent player and would fit in at Madrid. Whether he is worth the quoted price of £179m is a matter worth arguing about. Only time will tell if Perez plans to tear apart the current team and bring in another fresh batch of his ‘Galacticos’.
