Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has stated that he does not know if Cristiano Ronaldo will stay at Real Madrid in the future.
Reports of Ronaldo’s ‘anger‘ with Real Madrid have spread like wildfire. The attacker has refused to sign a new contract with the club, which suggests that he is looking to leave the club. The 32-year-old is the club’s all-time top-scorer and has been at the centre of all their successes since joining from Manchester United in 2009.
Ronaldo’s current contract keeps him at Madrid until 2021 and Ramos is unwilling to be drawn into the debate about his future. The Spain captain spoke to the media La Roja’s 3-3 draw with Russia in an international friendly.
"Cristiano is leaving? Ask him, I don't know about these things." 🤔

Sergio Ramos doesn’t know anything about Ronaldo’s future
Speaking to the media after the 3-3 draw with Russia, the Spain captain was questioned about his team-mate’s future. Ramos had scored two penalties in the game to help his country come away with a point against Russia.
Speaking on Ronaldo’s future, Ramos said,”Cristiano is leaving? Ask him, I don’t know about these things”. The Real Madrid captain doesn’t seem to have much of an idea about the star’s future at the club.
Ahead of the Madrid derby this week, Ramos hopes his team can do well. He said,”“It’s the good thing about football – difficult games come in.We have a minimum margin of error because we have wasted several points.”
He further added,”We hope to play a good role in the derby and then we’ll see”
Ramos’s comments haven’t answered any questions about Ronaldo’s future. If anything, they’ve added more doubt to the Portuguese’s future at the club, signing a new contract seems out of the question for him. It seems likely now that the Real Madrid star will depart when the time comes.
