Dortmund fans ready for another shock after Sancho’s departure?
German giants recently build up a reputation as a selling club. Fans have been criticising management for years for selling their star players to rivals Bayern Munich. They have been the only powerhouse that remained in Bundesliga as Dortmund not even fighting for the title anymore.
In this summer transfer window, they sold Jadon Sancho to Manchester United for £80 million only. Last season they refused to sell him for around £120 million, now fans questioning club management for this kind of business.
Another star forward Erling Haaland also expected to leave Dortmund next season. Losing Bellingham will be a huge loss for them as they are aiming to remain in the title challenge race.
Dortmund made a stunning comeback in their last match to defeat Baye Leverkusen by 3-4 away. They next face Besiktas in their first Champions League fixture on Wednesday evening.
