Agent wants Chelsea to sign his client so they can win the league

Chelsea target’s agent has once again asked the Blues to renew their interest in his client in order to sign him soon, and probably give Manchester City a tougher fight for the Premier League.
Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos has insisted that Maurizio Sarri signs another one of his clients in Gonzalo Higuain soon so that his chances of winning the Premier League increase by an extra shot. The former Real Madrid attacker scored 36 goals in the Serie A in a season, the best ever record in the Italian top flight and shares a wonderful relationship with the current Chelsea manager.
‘I do not know [about Higuain at Chelsea], he told Italian radio station, Kiss Kiss Napoli. ‘Obviously, I am cheering for the Blues. His arrival would give the squad a big boost.’

The Argentina international was wanted at the club by Maurizio Sarri in the summer but instead, he switched Juventus for AC Milan in a yearlong loan move. Gonzalo Higuain revealed that he would have loved to head to west London but nobody at the club except Sarri was keen on his arrival.
‘Sarri was the only one to want me at Chelsea,’ he said. ‘Everybody wanted me at AC Milan, while in London I was only wanted by the manager. AC Milan insisted to sign me, Elliott [Management] made a big effort for me and Leonardo, [Paolo] Maldini and [Gennaro] Gattuso know the club very well. I really appreciated their approach during the negotiation.’

Ultimately it would have been an amazing move if Chelsea had managed to land Gonzalo Higuain knowing the inconsistencies surrounding Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud. The fact is that they need a striker to challenge for the Premier League and failure in signing somebody in January will be suicidal from the Blues.
