In an era when football reigns the world, inducing mirth and craze in every fan’s heart, there are players too who have established the magnificence of their calibre such that they make big clubs waiting upon them carrying superfluous amounts. Such is an instance of Spanish football fame Alvaro Morata, whose alleged plan to quit Real Madrid created havoc among many clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea and his former one, Juventus.
The Spanish striker is valued around €55m by his current Real Madrid. Though it’s worth wondering why Morata would have a desire to leave his all time favourite and of course, the most achieved and successful club in view of Champions League rankings, there’s really a significant reason in it. Actually, the Spain International is facing a lack of game time under the manager Zinedine Zidane in the Real, and he has allegedly told someone close that he doesn’t want to ‘die of disgust’ playing as sidelines. The club is chiefly led by players like Christiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale, due to which only a little space is spared for Morata.
Meanwhile, Arsene Wenger would be happy to see Morata merge into his club, Chelsea is also prepared to have him and his former Juventus has also invitingly spread out arms for him. The Spanish footballer had scored 12 goals in 47 games in the Italian club after which he left it this summer to join the Reals.
Now, Morata’s take on all these news is quite intriguing as he denies all the transfer rumours. His response on Instagram was “No matter what they say #halamadrid forever. This is Madrid and we ALL keep going to death”.
Remarkably, Many do not rely on him and see this as means to avoid commotion.
