Ambati Rayudu: Baroda Takes His For The Next Domestic Season

Ambati Rayudu: For the upcoming domestic season, Baroda has hired Ambati Rayudu as a professional. The field was then made clear after Rayudu received a no-objection certificate from the Andhra Cricket Association.

In addition, Baroda has hired Yusuf Pathan as a mentor and is working to bring Deepak Hooda back into the fold. The BCA has asked Yusuf Pathan to be a mentor for them for the first year, and he has tentatively agreed to the post with some restrictions.

Yusuf’s position in cricket includes men and women of all ages and seniority, covering a larger group of players. He is expected to take part actively in training camps and scouting throughout the off-season.

“Because Baroda is a small unit, the concept is to see someone of Yusuf’s stature to help nourish the young players coming through. We have seen that players do not lack talent; it is their confidence and mental makeup that needs to be improved. We thought Yusuf would be ideal.”

Although Ambati Rayudu is available for all types of cricket, recently he has focused mostly on white-ball cricket. He finished his final first-class match in November 2017. Ambati Rayudu has traveled extensively in recent years for domestic cricket.

Having represented Hyderabad, Andhra, and Vidarbha in addition to a two-year stay with Baroda from 2012 to 2014. An argument between the Indian all-rounder Hooda and the team’s captain at the time, Krunal Pandya, led to his departure from Baroda in late 2020.

Since February of this year, he has consistently been a part of India’s white-ball teams. He too had a successful IPL season with the Lucknow Super Giants, similar to Krunal.

Indian cricketer Ambati Rayudu is the captain of the Andhra side competing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy final right now. He bats in the middle of the order right-handedly and occasionally keep wicket while also bowling right-arm off-breaks.

He competes for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League and Hyderabad in domestic cricket. Rayudu averaged 19.33 in the tri-series against Australia and England. However, he did not play in any of the tournament’s games.

On the Bangladesh tour in June 2015, he participated in two ODIs, averaging 22. Rayudu earned the man of the match honor after scoring an unbeaten 124 in the first ODI in Harare during the subsequent tour of Zimbabwe.

Before suffering an injury that prevented him from continuing the tour, he scored 41 in the following game.
