Sunrisers Hyderabad player Manish Pandey has been giving absolutely everything for his franchise in the Indian Premier League. The right-handed batsman has been scoring runs at will at the United Arab Emirates.
Manish Pandey has been converting all his opportunities to good effect in the ongoing season. The 31-year-old scored 354 runs at a pretty decent average of 35.40. He has by far hit three half-centuries in this season.
Previously, Manish Pandey scored a match-winning 83* against Rajasthan Royals. He was named the Player of the Match for guiding his team to victory. His productive knock is also his highest score this season.
Manish Pandey adds value to team’s scoreboard
The Indian cricketer once again hogged the limelight by chipping in with valuable contribution against Delhi Capitals at Dubai International Stadium in Dubai. Earlier, Delhi Capitals won the toss and opted to bowl first.
Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a colossal total of 219 for the loss of two wickets in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Wriddhiman Saha was the pick of the batsmen for SRH as he top-scored with 87 off 45 (12 fours, 2 sixes).
David Warner scored an impressive 66 off 34 including 8 fours and 2 sixes. Warner and Saha shared a 107-run opening partnership. Manish Pandey who came out to bat at No.3 added colour to the team’s total.
Manish Pandey walked in to bat a tad late in the innings but ended up scoring a decent knock to take his team to a massive total. Pandey initially started the innings quite slowly but switched gears as the game progressed.
The right-handed batsman remained not out throughout Sunrisers Hyderabad’s innings. The 31-year-old Indian cricketer managed to score 44 runs off 31 deliveries with the help of 4 fours and a six to his name.

In the 19th over of SRH batting, Pandey gets surprised by Nortje superb yorker. The yorker was super fast but was very left by Manish Pandey. Nortje has been performing very well in this IPL especially with his speedy yorkers.
SRH beat DC
Delhi Capitals were nowhere close to posing a serious threat to the Sunrisers. SRH bowlers ripped through the defense of the DC batting line-up. Rashid Khan was the pick of the bowlers for SRH as he picked 3/7.
The fast bowlers – Natarajan and Sandeep Sharma picked two wickets apiece. Shahbaz Nadeem, Jason Holder, and Vijay Shankar picked one wicket each. Rishabh Pant is top-scored for DC with 36 off 35.
Delhi Capitals were bundled out for 131 as Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match by 88 runs. With this important victory, David Warner’s side are at the sixth spot in the points table. If SRH wins two more games by impressive margins, they are certain to make it to this season’s playoffs.
