French sensation Antoine Griezmann is going to be the voice of Superman in the new Lego Batman movie.
Antoine Griezmann, for a huge part of his career, has been nothing short of a superhero on the field. Scoring key goals, providing the perfect assists and generally tipping the scales in the favour of his team. This time around, Griezmann gets to play a superhero for real as he gets to play the iconic role of Superman in the highly anticipated Batman Lego movie.
Griezmann will be the voice of Superman in the French version of the movie. The movie includes an ensemble of the most popular and beloved superheroes like Superman, Flash and Wonder Woman. Director Chris McKay, best known for his TV series “Robot Chicken” announced via his facebook page that he has picked Griezmann to be the voice of the iconic original superhero Superman in the French dubbed version of the film.
He has been in top form for Atletico Madrid and has garnered quite the attention from Manchester United. Antoine’s brother, Theo Griezmann has been actively fueling the rumours of Griezmann making a move to Manchester United sometime in the next transfer window by frequently posting cryptic tweets associating his brother with the Red Devils.
At just 25 years of age, Griezmann has yet to reach his peak and his activities outside of football such as this, would only help him establish his brand and cement his position as one of the biggest stars in Europe. Big clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester United aren’t just looking for players with the right talent on the field but also players that transcend the boundaries of football and venture into other fields and carry the level of brand recognition expected of bona fide superstars in football.
With him playing a major lead role in a huge global blockbuster is a step forward in the right direction for the Atletico Madrid star.
