Chelsea’s golden boy, Eden Hazard is extremely happy at the club and will not be sold according to manager Antonio Conte. The Premier League winning boss told Goal in an interview that the 26-year-old forward will not be leaving Stamford Bridge at any cost.
With Neymar leaving Barcelona for an incredible amount of money, the Catalans need a new world class forward who can slot right into the “N” in the MSN front line. The Brazilian, who completed his switch to the City of Lights on Thursday, has left a gaping hole for the Camp Nou club to fill and they in return have turned their sights on Eden Hazard as one of the players to replace him.

One of the standout wingers in world football, the Belgian international still has three years left on his contract with the Blues and thus would command a hefty transfer fee. However, Barcelona is willing to spend the cash to fill the void and thus have made bids for both Eden Hazard and Liverpool’s Philippe Coutinho.
Antonio Conte is planning additions to the team :
Conte has said that the Blues have no intention whatsoever to sell their talisman, who has been a part of the PFA team of the year for four of the last five season. In an interview, the 48-year-old said “We are trying to buy the players, not to sell them. Otherwise, the number is always less and we are in trouble.”
“These are rumors. Eden is very happy to stay with us and to start the new season.” He also said, when asked about Neymar’s transfer fee “It’s an impressive amount of money, £200m. If PSG is able to do this why not?”
“For a normal player now you must be ready to spend £40m, £50m. If you want to buy a top player, you must be ready to spend this money.”
Conte finished the press conference with “We are trying to buy the players, not to sell. Otherwise, the number is always less and we are in trouble. I think these are rumours and Eden is very happy to stay with us, to play with Chelsea and to recover from his injury and to start the season with us.”
The 26-year-old is likely to miss the start of the Premier League season as he continues to heal from a fractured ankle and will miss the Community Shield match against Arsenal. The Belgium International was in a great form last season as Chelsea won the Premier League with his contribution of 16 goals and 5 assists. But if things stay the way they are right now, then it looks unlikely that the Eden Hazard will leave Stamford Bridge, which is a blow to Barcelona.

Ever since rumours of Neymar’s world record move to Paris Saint-Germain hit the news, the club has been looking for the perfect replacement. However, now with the Brazilian actually leaving Camp Nou for a myriad of reasons, the Catalans need world class talent to replace him.
Barcelona have also shown interest in other players.
