Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants £42m rated Bayern Munich ace at Stamford Bridge by next season.
According to reports, Chelsea are planning to sign Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal for a reported sum of £42m. Antonio Conte has expressed his interes in signing this former Juventus player.

Spanish media outlet Don Balon says Chelsea have approached Bayern Munich regarding the possibility of a move in next summer. The 29 year old Chiliean International has played for Bayer Leverkusen, Juventus and Bayern Munich so far in his career.
A move to England will be regarded as a new challenge for Vidal. He was once linked with a move to Manchester United but a transfer to Old Trafford never materialised.

In between 2015 and 2015, Arturo Vidal played under Antonio Conte during his time at Juventus. Later in 2015, Vidal moved to German champions Bayern Munich for a sum of €37 million.
Recently there have been reports regarding Chelsea midfielders Oscar and Mikel John Obi leaving the club in January. Conte looks to use this opportunity to sign a new midfielder whom he can afford at Stamford Bridge. However, Chelsea need to secure a place Champions League for next season, if they are to sign Vidal.

In addition, Bayern Munich would be willing to sell Vidal, as they want Renato Sanches and Joshua Kimmich to establish themselves in midfield. It is very much clear that Vidal wants a new challenge and the chance to link up with Conte could be too good to turn down.
