During the match between Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab, Jofra Archer once again continued his good form with the ball. The fast bowler has been the leading wicket-taker for Rajasthan Royals this season.
Jofra Archer was the pick of the bowlers for Rajasthan Royals as he picked up two important wickets. Besides taking wickets, he also ended up as the most economical bowler for the team. He gave away 26 runs in four overs.
Overall, Jofra Archer has picked up 19 wickets from 13 games. He registered his best bowling figures of 3/19 against Delhi Capitals. England fast bowler is also the fourth-highest wicket-taker in the ongoing season of the IPL.
During the match against Kings XI Punjab, Jofra Archer dismissed Mandeep Singh for a duck and then got rid of Chris Gayle on 99. The Universe Boss was batting well but missed out on a well-deserved century by a run.

England pacer deserves a certificate of excellence for his superb delivery which he bowled to dismissed Gayle. Rajasthan Royals pacer made a mess of Gayle stumps and after which, Gayle threw away his bat.
After dismissing Chris Gayle on 99, Archer’s old tweet resurfaced again which reads, “I know if I was bowling I know he wasn’t getting da 100.” Rajasthan Royals Twitter made it viral by posting it on their account. The RR Twitter handle responded to Archer’s tweet by saying: “100% True.”
Kings XI Punjab posted 185/4 in 20 overs. Rajasthan Royals comfortably chased down the target in 17.3 overs. Ben Stokes was the pick of the batsmen for scoring a terrific half-century off 25 deliveries. England all-rounder smashed six fours and three sixes in his innings. He has adjudged the Player of the Match. Other than him, Sanju Samson was the second-best batsman at the crease as he scored 48 off 25 balls.
