Arsenal boss delivers stance over Isco transfer rumor after Brighton win

Mikel Arteta has faced innumerable ups and down in his one-year tenure at the Emirates. Amid the struggle to secure a win and revive the best form. Arsenal managed to secure two of the latest wins in the domestic league after streaks of disappointing performance on the pitch. In order to strengthen the squad, Arsenal will take part in the transfer window and Mikel Arteta has refused to be drawn on the reports linking a move for Real Madrid star Isco.

It’s been a while now that Arsenal is getting linked with a move for Spanish midfielder Isco in the January transfer window. The 28-year old is tipped to leave Real Madrid either in January or in summer after he has been frozen out from the squad under Zinedine Zidane. Isco could only manage to make 3 appearances for the Spanish giants since the start of the season.

After making a dreadful start to the 2020-21 campaign and amassing only 20 goals from the 16 Premier League games. Arsenal is once again in the transfer market to pick up a midfielder after the summer signings could add a little value to the squad.

Now that Arsenal has received the backing of two League wins against Chelsea and Brighton. Arsenal is keen to add depth to the squad and improve the overall squad performance.

Arsenal boss delivers stance over Isco transfer rumor after Brighton win

As the January transfer window is looming up the new transfer rumors continues to rumble on. Among a number of players linked with a move to north London. Real Madrid attacking midfielder Isco is one of the names from the transfer list. There were reports from an unknown source that claims Arsenal’s interest in signing Isco on a six-month loan deal.

Mikel Arteta address Isco transfer rumors

Following their second Premier Victory over Brighton on Tuesday at Amex Stadium since November 1. Mikel Arteta decided to remain closed-mouthed when asked about a possible January move for Isco. Refusing to comment anything over Isco speculation and saying that he cannot talk about individual players.

Arsenal made a poor start to the season for the first time in years. But the Gunners were fortunate enough. Thanks to Bukayo Saka’s fine assist to Alexandre Lacazette. That produced a fine goal in the second half. Which was enough to take away all the three points from the South Coast.

Even after playing 14 Premier League matches the Gunners was placed in the 15th position. But the successive win over Chelsea and Brighton helped Arsenal to slide up to the 13th position in the League table. Moreover, Mikel Arteta opened up to Amazon prime video on picking another three points.

Arteta said that the team has been struggling with the results. However, the win over Chelsea handed a major boost to the club, and coming to Amex stadium to secure another win was massively important. Arteta also insisted that he’s equally proud AMD happy for the club.

Arteta also said that the best medicine is winning. The picture looks much better with it. It’s a different world with different stories. For Arteta, the one year tenure at arsenal has been a real challenger. But the manager is happy with the people around him.

Regarding Bukayo Saka’s injury during the Brighton win. Arteta is hopeful that it is not the serious one. The England international who once again named man of the match limped as he took the great challenge.
