Arsenal Complete Signing Of 21-Year-Old Forward, As Wenger Pushes Through Move

The talks are done and it has been confirmed that north London giants Arsenal have now completed a deal to sign 21 year old Japanese forward Takuma Asano from his current club Sanfrecce Hiroshima. All that remains now in the youngster’s move to the Emirates is a medical examination and some regulatory processes, after which he shall be joining the Gunners’ squad under manager Arsene Wenger.

A lot of top sides were keen on signing the young attacker and the French manager said in a recent interview, “Takuma is a talented young striker and very much one for the future. He has had an impressive start to his career in Japan and we look forward to him developing over the next couple of years.”

The highly talented player made his full debut for the Japan national side back in August 2015 and has a tally of five caps for them so far.

He will be part of the squad to represent them at the Rio Olympics in August and has been at the club in 2013, since he was just 18-years-old.

He has really been superb with his performances the J-League side, playing 56 times for them and has a total of 11 goals in those appearances.

Takuma helped his side, not just win the J1 League title in 2013 and 2015, but also lifted the Japanese Super Cup in 2013, 2014 and 2015, which is remarkable.

The Londoners want this brilliant youngster, who was the J-League’s ‘Rookie of the Year’ back in 2015 and can make a huge difference to their title ambitions if the years to come.
