Aubameyang’s transfer saga takes new twist. Inter will try to lure Arsenal by offering Icardi in a swap deal.
Arsenal and Aubameyang have not been able to come to terms yet. This has been going on for quite some time now. Aubameyang’s contract expires by the end of June 2021.
Gabonese International has denied an opportunity to sign an extension multiple times. And it seems that he wants a move away from Arsenal. Arsenal is on the lookout should Aubameyang leave.

Although there is still one year left in Aubameyang’s contract. Gunners legend Thierry Henry advised the player to sign an extension, but Henry admits that he can move away from North London. Henry in a statement said, ” I have no right to ask him to stay because I myself did leave.
Arsenal would want to avoid losing Aubameyang on a free transfer as his contract expires next season. They could end up losing him just like Ramsey. It looks like Arsenal will be making their move this summer itself. Aubameyang is still a deadly striker and has 20 goals this season for Arsenal, there is a lot of European interest in him.
Chelsea and Tottenham have also shown interest in him. If Aubameyang tries to force his hand and leave early there are a lot of avenues for him to consider. Lacazette could also be seen leaving the club. Arsenal is scouting Luka Jovic and Kevin Volland as potential replacements. But now it looks like they have a more dependable option.

Mauro Icardi is developing into one of the most lethal strikers in the game right now. Icardi has become a regular part of Paris’s team. He is on loan from Inter and has 20 goals and 4 assists for PSG in 31 appearances. His performance has been splendid and you would think that PSG would certainly want to keep him.
PSG also have Mbappe and Neymar in their attacking lineup. The club, however, does want to keep Icardi but will give their decision by the end of the month. Arsenal is drawing a list of potential list of strikers. Arsenal can only move for Icardi if PSG decides to send him back to Inter. Inter, on the other hand, are clear on their stance with Icardi. They are contempt with their attacking options right now and will try to sell Icardi is possible.
They do not want to disturb the dynamics of their team as of now. According to Calciomercato Inter will tempt Arsenal by offering Icardi to sign Aubameyang in return. Arsenal is already looking for suitable replacements and their would-be none better than Icardi. The Gunners would also save a lot of money as they would only have to pay only around 14-15 million along with Aubameyang.
But Juventus are also on the lookout for Icardi and if any moves are to be made it has to be done quickly. Although Arsenal’s approach depends upon Paris’s final decision. If they decide to hold on to Icardi then PSG will remain the first choice for the Italian. Although Aubameyang recently responded to transfer rumors and said, “as of now I am 100 percent here”.
