Arsenal News: Arsenal is one of the most active clubs in the transfer window right now. The club is in a rebuilding phase and Mikel Arteta is on the lookout for talented players. This season we could finally see a settled Arsenal squad as Arteta looks to find the final pieces.
They have already started their transfer business as the club looks to announce their second signing soon. Fabio Vieira is already said to be in London undergoing a medical for the Gunners.
This will take care of adding an attacking midfielder to Arsenal’s squad. Gabriel Jesus is soon expected to follow as he too favors a move to the club. Jesus’s transfer looks to be set and it’s just a matter of time before that too is completed.
If you combine all three of the signings, Arsenal will have spent around £95 million already on their summer signings. Although it doesn’t look like they are planning to stop any time soon.

Mikel Arteta has been able to win the trust of Arsenal’s board. Last year the Spaniard made 6 signings and had a total spend of £140 m. This is Mikel Arteta could get access to a £200 m kitty.
Fabio Vieria is a good addition but Tielemans would be a proper central midfielder to partner alongside Partey. As per reports from the Mirror, Arsenal made an inquisition and Leicester is looking for a figure of around £45 m for his services.
Although, before signing Tielelmans the Gunners will have to decide on Granit Xhaka. If they do not want him as a part of their project it would be best to sell the player. The proceeds could be used in Arsenal’s transfer acquisitions.
Tielemans too is interested in a move away from Leicester and there is interest from other Premier League clubs too. Chelsea & Tottenham offer the Champions League dream but Arsenal have a stronger interest and their determination could lure Tielemans.

Mikel Arteta plans to do a lot of business this season and many of his plans hinge upon departures from the club. Ex-Arsenal player Jack Wilshere has urged the club to go for Raphinha before Tottenham snaps him up.
Although Raphinha would cost around and above £60 m to the club. To go after Raphinha it is necessary for Arsenal to offload Nicolas Pepe. Pepe too wants to go but for Arsenal, the transfer fee is key here.
They would not want to sell Pepe for lower than £35-40 m. That could be an issue for the Gunners. Lisandro Martinez is another player who is on the transfer shortlist for Arsenal.
The club made an approach of £30m for Martinez but saw it rejected by Ajax. Although, Arsenal is willing to revamp the offer and is hopeful that Ajax can be persuaded to sell for the right price.
