Arsenal Transfer News: Arteta speaks out on Eriksen and Wilshere ‘dream’ return

The Gunners Boss Arteta responds to two International footballers, linked with his Arsenal side. It includes Inter Milan’s midfielder Christian Eriksen and West Ham’s midfielder Jack Wilshere.

Mikel Arteta explains Jack Wilshere has not explored the possibility of re-signing to the club. The 28-year-old is presently a free agent after he departs from the West ham side. The Wilshere announced that it would be a dream to return to Arsenal on a pay-and-play basis.

Arteta was more forthcoming on reports that the England international used to play for Gunners. Before his move to West Ham United. Previously, Wilshere and Arteta were teammates at Arsenal. The Wilshere becomes the most favorite player of Spaniard.

Eriksen could overcome Arsenal’s creativity problems

Arsenal is interested in signing former Tottenham star Christian Eriksen. According to a report by Calcio News 24, Inter Milan have made a swap deal with Arsenal. This deal is in between Granit Xhaka and Christian Eriksen

Central midfielder Granit Xhaka joined Arsenal’s club in May 2016. The 28-year-old midfielder made 185 appearances for the Gunners and conceded 12 goals. He also saw in the five premier league matches and two Europa League matches. 

Henceforth, Arteta’s side has conceded only nine-goal in this season. On Thursday evening in Arsenal’s Europa League meeting. Arteta questioned whether Erickson could be the answer to his side’s creative issues.

The former Spurs star is currently struggling for game time at Inter after his £17 million moves to Italy. Also, He made 33 appearances and struck only four-goal. Inter is now ready to deal in January.

The 28-year-old midfielder has made 305 appearances in all football matches for Spurs between 2013 and 2020. He conceded a total of sixty-nine goals.

In this earlier month, Erickson told TV2 that all players want to play as much as possible. But the coach decides who gets to go on the pitch. He concentrates on his game. Therefore, When the transfer window opens they will see if something will happen, he said.
