Tottenham Hotspur News: The Spurs knew that they had to win in order to keep their top-four hopes alive. Forwards Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son rose to the occasion as the duo helped Antonio Conte’s side get a crucial win.

The Spurs took the lead in the 22nd minute courtesy of a Harry Kane penalty after Cedric brought down Heung-Min Son. The English captain then doubled the advantage as he scored from close range to double the advantage in the 37th minute.

Heung-Min Son would himself get on the scoresheet in the 47th minute. The South Korean winger showed calmness as he scored towards the far corner to give Tottenham Hotspur a 3-0 lead. The Spurs would hold on to this lead until the full-time whistle.

Arsenal News: Rob Holding gets a Red!

Arsenal News: Ben White had not played for the Gunners in their last two Premier League games due to a hamstring injury. The defender did make his return to the squad, but he could only find a place on the bench against the Spurs.

Rob Holding started the game at Ben White’s expense but the 26-year-old had a horrible game, to say the least. Having picked up a yellow card earlier, the Arsenal center-back was sent off in the 33rd minute after he fouled Heung-Min Son on both occasions.

Arsenal were 1-0 down at the time of Holding’s sending off. But this ended hopes of a comeback as the Spurs made full use of a man advantage as they went on to win the Premier League game 3-0.

The Spurs, with 65 points, have a better goal difference than the Gunners. Hence with games against Burnley and Norwich City remaining, Conte’s side would certainly fancy themselves to get six out of six points and pile the pressure on Mikel Arteta.
