Arsenal News: Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a brace as Barcelona beat Real Madrid 4-0 at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu. This astounding result has drawn a reaction from English broadcaster Piers Morgan.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been on-song for Barcelona since joining the club in February. The Spanish giants have remained unbeaten ever since the Gabon-based striker joined the club.
The former Arsenal striker opened the scoring for Barcelona in the 29th minute as finished from close range courtesy of an Ousmane Dembele assist. The goal gave a huge advantage to the Blaugrana, who then took a foothold in the game.
Aubameyang then added another goal and also provided an assist in the second half as Barcelona secured a massive win. The result meant that the Blaugrana moved to third position in the LaLiga table this season.

As per the Mirror, Piers Morgan was not very pleased to see Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang leave the club in January. The striker’s brace against Real Madrid just strengthened his beliefs.
The English journalist took to social media as Aubameyang made easy work of Los Blancos in the Clasico. Morgan criticised Arteta in his tweets and he was clearly not happy that the Gunners let him leave for free.
After Aubameyang’s second goal, Piers Morgan Tweeted, “Another brilliant goal by @Auba – this time in El Clasico”. He then added in a separate post that, “Auba’s been the world’s most lethal goal machine since joining Barcelona… and with every goal he scores, he makes Arteta look more absurd for giving him away.”
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left Arsenal after he was frozen out of the squad by Mikel Arteta. The Arsenal manager reportedly had enough of his captain after multiple disciplinary breaches. Owing to this, he didn’t even allow Aubameyang to train with the squad.
Arsenal eventually terminated his contract on deadline day. Following this, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang joined Barcelona on a free transfer. The Gunners eventually failed to find a replacement for the striker in the January transfer window.
The Gunners are currently fourth on the Premier League table. Though the Gunners have been brilliant, goalscoring has been a problem in some games. Hence Piers Morgan feels that keeping Aubameyang would have been a better choice in January.

Was Mikel Arteta right to let the striker leave?
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 9 goals in 11 appearances since joining Barcelona. Piers Morgan criticized Mikel Arteta saying that “A manager’s job is to manage great talent & get the best out of them, not drive them out of the club”.
Aubameyang wanted to stay at the club but Mikel Arteta did not want him there. Mesut Özil and Matteo Guendouzi have also received similar treatments in recent years at Arsenal. Hence it would be right to wonder if Mikel Arteta is too harsh on his players?
