Arsenal plans a major overhaul by risking up a few of the club’s biggest names.

Arteta may give up on the senior trio of Aubameyang, Lacazette, and Ozil, to raise the funds for potential reinforcement.

The Gunners are ten points away from the top four and ridiculously sit 10th in the Premier League table. This, in turn, would lead them to miss out on European football.

Mikel Arteta the Gunners head coach is reportedly planning a major overhaul of his Arsenal squad in the summer. Few big names including Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Mesut Ozil and Alexandre Lacazette are among the players who could be sold.

Former Manchester City assistant Arteta succeeded Unai Emery at the Emirates’ as a manager in December. He couldn’t turn around the club’s fortunes after a poor start to the season.

In Arteta’s first seven League games, Arsenal has won just once. There are reports that the Spaniard is concerned for his team’s lack of progress since his arrival at Emirates.

Reports claim the 37-year-old has been closely observing his squad condition his first few weeks in charge. Thus, reaching the conclusion that significant changes are needed to revitalize Arsenal.

Arsenal’s poor run of form has forced Arteta to think about giving up on the number of the Gunners’ top players. Several changes are required to transform the squad as per Arteta’s requirement. Only if his side fails to qualify for either the Champions League or Europa League.

Senior trio future at risk.

Few names are linked with the likes of the senior trio of Aubameyang, Ozil and Lacazette are the players who could leave the club to fund summer transfers.

Mesut Ozil and Aubameyang are among the six players of Arsenal’s first team who will enter the final year of their current deals at the end of summer.

The Head of Football Raul Sanllehi has sent down the warning to the Spaniard that no player will be allowed to leave for free. Other players like experienced defenders Shkodran Mustafi, David Luiz and Sokratis are also in the final 18 months of their current deals.

However, the club is expecting the top-scorer Aubameyang will commit his future to the club by signing a new contract. The 30-year-old who was linked with Barcelona in January is yet to agree for a new agreement with Gunners.

If the Gabon international agrees for a new agreement and extend his stay at Arsenal. Then there are chances that Arsenal would prepare to cash-in on Lacazette.

Lacazette has committed to the Gunners until 2022. The Frenchman has struggled to impress with his form this season. He contributed with just one league goal since the start of December.

A thread of strong performances from Brazilian teenager Gabriel Martinelli has also added up to Lacazette’s future at Arsenal.
