Welshish midfielder and Gunners Star reveals preferred destination when the contract ends.
Wales international and Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey will leave the Emirates at the end of the season after failing to agree on a new contract with Arsenal.
The 28-year-old was believed to be close to signing a new deal back in September.
But Gunners chiefs pulled out at the last minute, meaning Ramsey will end his 11-year stay in north London.
As of today, the ex-Cardiff man can begin discussions with foreign clubs over a pre-contract agreement.
And several European heavyweights are thought to be interested in him.
Bayern Munich, Inter Milan, Paris Saint Germain, Real Madrid and Juventus are the clubs Ramsey is thought to be considering.
But Sky Sports claim the Welshman has put Serie A side Juventus at the top of his list. According to them he is considering a move to Juventus next summer.
The Italian champions are confident they can sign Ramsey and are ready to offer him a four-year deal worth a whopping £140,000-a-week, as well as a £12m signing-on-fee.
Clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea are also believed to be keeping tabs on him.
But English clubs can only approach out-of-contract players in the final month of their deals.
It is thought Ramsey would have been open to leaving Arsenal this month for a cut-price fee.
The Gunners are expected to have a quiet transfer window this month, having invested heavily in their current squad.
Owner Stan Kroenke is unlikely to inject any money to allow Unai Emery to maneuver in the transfer market.
This aligns with managing director Vinai Venkatesham’s commitment to keeping the club a “self-sustaining business model”.
Author’s Take:
Aaron Ramsey preferring to make a move away from Arsenal to the Italian old lady. He is known as the Club’s longest serving player.
But Arsenal are keen to hang on to him for the rest of the season. They believe his worth on the pitch outweighs any financial gain.
He is free to move away only after the expiry of his contract that is in the summer of 2019.
