Gunners Target Marco Reus as Replacement for Alexis Sanchez
In fear of losing either stars Alexis Sanchez or Mesut Ozil, Arsenal have been actively scouring the scene to find suitable replacements, should the need arise. The Telegraph report that Arsenal continue to be concerned over the future of the pair, who are yet to sign extensions on their deals which expire in 2018.

Reus, 27, is a key part of Dortmund’s attack but like Arsenal in recent years, the German side have shown they will cash in on their top stars at the right price.
Injuries have blighted Reus’ career in recent seasons, and this campaign he has only made three Bundesliga starts.
He has shown his quality since his return, scoring two goals and providing three assists in three matches, before being sent off this past weekend.

If Arsenal were to lose possession of Alexis Sanches, there aren’t replacements better than the likes of Reus, who has been a constant bright spot for his club. However his tendency to succumb to injuries on a frequent basis may be a red flag.
Gooners will hope the situation with Sanchez and Ozil does not come to the point where replacements are needed, but it is perhaps concerning that the club are at the stage where news of their back-up plans is being leaked to the media.
