Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has had a very ordinary season with the Gunners. The Gabonese striker has just scored 4 goals in 14 Premier League games so far.
Things got worse for the former Arsenal captain in December. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta declared that Aubameyang had committed a “disciplinary breach”. Following this, Aubameyang was stripped of his captaincy and suspended.
The Arsenal number 14 last featured for the Gunners against Everton on December 7th. He has not been allowed to even train with the squad since then. And as per multiple sources, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be leaving Arsenal in the January transfer window.

As per TBR Football, Borussia Dortmund have approached Arsenal to inquire about the situation of Aubameyang. The report states that the German club are looking to re-sign the forward.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was part of the Borussia Dortmund setup before he joined Arsenal in 2018. The Gabonese striker has played with the Bundesliga club for 5 seasons. Owing to this, he is loved by the Dortmund fans.
Aubameyang has scored 141 goals in 213 appearances for Dortmund during his stint with the club. The forward’s best came in the 2016/17 season when he scored 31 goals in 32 Bundesliga games for Borussia Dortmund.
Owing to his scintillating form, Arsenal signed Aubameyang in 2018. The striker has already made his mark in the Gunner’s history by scoring 92 goals in 163 appearances for the club.
At Arsenal, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has captained the club to an FA Cup and a Community Shield title. He has also won the Premier League golden boot in the 2018/19 season.
The Gabonese striker has been severely out of form this season. This along with the recent disciplinary breach has prompted speculation that Arsenal could sell him in January. There are also rumors that he may never play for the club again.
