With things not going right for Arsenal, it has been stated the Gunners are looking to sign a goalkeeper, a central defender and a holding midfielder, with Atletico Madrid’s Jose Gimenez on their radar.
Despite that, it has been stated now that the La Liga will demand Laurent Koscielny in exchange for Arsene Wenger’s defensive target. A host of players are all set to leave the Emirates at the end of the current campaign, which could include the France international as well.

Apart from the north London giants, their domestic rivals Liverpool and Manchester United are also keen on adding the central defensive star, though it seems that the French manager is keen on getting the deal done, as per reports from the Gol Digital.
Further, the report adds that Diego Simeone won’t let his star player leave, unless a replacement is found and the Argentine could be keen on adding the Arsenal man in a swap deal.
The manager is a huge fan of Koscielny and wants to bring him to Spain, in case his player decides to join the north London outfit. He may have to work hard for it, given Gimenez’s discontent after falling behind Stefan Savic in the pecking order for a considerable portion of the season
It would not be a bad deal if it does indeed go through, as the defensive star is still just a 23 year old and joined the Madrid based club back in 2013.
The Premier League giants are in need of a major change at the club and Wenger knows that his current team is not performing and will not win anything, the way that they are playing. They have a lot of top quality players, match-winners, who can really help them lift titles. However, there is no chemistry and they are not being able to perform together.
With that in mind, Wenger will be looking for such young talents, who can help revive Arsenal to its best form, though only time will tell whether that will actually happen or not. He will need more than just three players with the way that things seem to be at the moment, though these three will be his first priority, more eventually to follow.
