Arteta admits he has a dilemma over these two strikers

Arsenal coach, Mikel Arteta admitted that two Arsenal strikers are ‘making life difficult’ for him. Strikers Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazatte are both in fine form. Arteta usually has a dilemma on who should be in the starting eleven. And also both of them are in very good form in the last few matches.

Arsenal is currently in the ninth position in Premier League. They have a long way to got to make it into any European competitions. The fight for Champions league positions is intense. Arsenal needs to maintain their form and fitness if they want to stay in the race.

Eddi Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazatte, whom to start?

In their previous match, Eddie Nketiah got the nod ahead of Alexander Lacazatte. But Lacazatte came on from the bench to score the winning goal. And also Lacazatte had started the match before that. It looks like Arteta is trying to give both the players some solid game time.

When asked about it Arteta said that he chose Eddie over Lacazatte against West Ham because of the type of defenders the opposition had. He added the competition for the same spot is difficult for him but is beneficial to the team. Because both of them are scoring and helping the team.

Eddie Nketiah, promising future for the young English striker.

twenty years old Eddie Nketiah is enjoying his football at Arsenal. He is challenging the seasoned players of the squad for a place in the starting eleven. The young Gunner was in the Arsenal youth setup before breaking into the senior squad. He has 2 goals in 12 appearances this season under his belt. But his performances in those matches were very impressive, something that the stats cannot show.

Mikel Arteta has seen a change of fortune after a difficult start at Arsenal. The former gunner failed to impress as manager during his first few outings. But his team is finding a rhythm in their game now. Arteta replaced Unai Emery at the end of last year. Emery was sacked after a series of poor performances from the gunners. Arsenal play Manchester City at Etihad in their next outing.
