Sarr has established himself as among the most talented attackers in English football since joining Watford from Rennes in 2019. So far, he has played 92 league games for the Hertfordshire club, scoring 24 goals.
He played a key role in the Hornets’ promotion back to the Premier League during the 2020-21 season and was named Watford Player of the Season for his performances.
However, the Senegal international has been linked with a move away from the Vicarage Road Stadium following the Hornets’ relegation from the Premier League last season. Several top-flight clubs have shown interest in him in recent weeks.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Watford have accepted a transfer bid worth €25 million plus €3 million add-ons from Aston Villa to sell Ismaila Sarr.
The Clarets will now discuss personal terms with the player. Sarr was excluded from the Hornets squad for their league match against Preston on Saturday.
The 24-year-old attacker’s departure will be a massive setback for the Hertfordshire club, who also lost Emmanuel Dennis to Nottingham Forest last week. West Ham United also showed interest in singing Sarr recently but Villa appears to have won the race for his signature.
What will Ismaila Sarr bring to Villa Park?
The Senegal international is a versatile attacker who is comfortable playing anywhere across the forward line or as an attacking midfielder. His key strengths are his pace and dribbling skills along with his composure in front of the goals.
He played 22 Premier League games last term, scoring five goals and assisting two more. Sarr started the current season brilliantly as well, registering one goal and one assist in three EFL Championship appearances.
According to WhoScored, he averaged 1.8 shots, one key pass, and 1.5 dribbles per 90 in the league during the 2021-22 season.
Aston Villa have suffered a 3-1 defeat against Crystal Palace in the league earlier this week. They will look to turn things around when they lock horns against West Ham United next week
Meanwhile, Watford is currently second in the EFL Championship table with nine points from five games. They will next go up against MK Dons in the EFL Cup before facing QPR in the league.
