The midfielder is the seventh new arrival at the Goodison park following the arrival of Italian strike Moise Kean who is taken away from The Italian giants Juventus for a fee mount of £31million. Iwobi has given his all to Arsenal for all these years, but with an offer like this on the table worth £40million, it is too good an offer to turn down.
The move away from the Emirates will be bittersweet for Arsenal but there is no denial that the winger had a good season under Unai Emery, the situation changed post signing of Nicolas Pepe where he seems to have overrated skills than required following this bumper offer from Everton.
Alex Iwobi was excited enough for making a move to Everton and take the next step in his career. He fulfills the criteria of being the young player with lot of top level experience. Everton finished being eighth in the Premier League last term and the player could be lot more beneficial in helping the club qualify for various League titles.
