Polish striker Robert Lewandowski scored a brace for Barcelona while Ousmane Dembele scored the other goal. Meanwhile, for Inter, Nicola Barella, Lautaro Martinez, and Robin Gosens were on target.
Coming to the match, Barcelona had only three points from the last three matches and knew that needed a win to keep matters in their own hand.

Robert Lewandowski keeps Barcelona out of Europa
The match had a frantic start and it was the visitors who got the first chance of the match. Inter Milan striker Edin Dzeko hit the crossbar within the first 15 minutes of the match.
Barcelona then started to dominate the match. The Blaugrana drew first blood through Ousmane Dembele. After getting the ball from Raphinha, Sergi Roberto found Ousmane Dembele in the box. The French International did no mistake and fired past Onana to take the lead.
Barcelona tried to get the second goal before the halftime break but Inter’s defense somehow kept them at bay. After the break, Inter looked like a whole different team.
They put the pressure back on Barcelona with a flurry of attacks. Finally, a deep cross from Bastoni found Nicola Barella’s excellent run in the box. The Italian International then scored the equaliser with an exquisite finish.
After getting the goal, Inter looked more comfortable. The crossfield balls and deep crosses were putting Barcelona defenders in a lot of trouble. From such a crossfield ball, Inter striker Lautaro Martinez scored the second goal for the Italian team and gave them their first lead of the match.
Barcelona restored parity in the 82nd minute when their talismanic forward Robert Lewandowski scored with a left-footed effort after latching onto a second ball in the box.
Barcelona kept on chasing for the winner but it was Inter Milan who took the lead again. With Barcelona committing too many players for the third goal, Inter caught them in the counter and it was Robin Gosens who scored past ter-Stegan to restore the lead for the visiting team.
Barcelona somehow managed to score another goal as Robert Lewandowski’s header defeated Onana to bring Barca on level terms. The entertaining match finally ended in a 3-3 draw.
With this draw, Barcelona have kept their Champions League knockout dreams alive but now their future in this tournament will be in Inter Milan’s hand.
Inter Milan will need to win one of their next two fixtures against Victoria Plzen and Bayern Munich to secure their place in the round of 16.
