Barcelona is currently upset with their Assistant managers’ reaction during El Clasico

Barcelona suffered defeat in the hand of Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday. Madrid secured a 2-0 win with second-half goals from 19-year-old Vinicius Junior and late sub-Mariano. Zinedine Zidane’s side entered Sunday in second place and two points behind Barcelona in the standings. With this win, they have leaped past their arch-rivals to 56 points and a slim one-point advantage to the top.

The game deadlocked at 0-0 before Vinicius Junior scored the decisive goal. Just moments later Martin Braithwaite missed a golden chance to put Barca on the level terms. The talented Brazilian youngster had a ball beautifully played into the box by Toni Kroos. A sliding Gerard Pique deflected his near post shot into the goal. The Blaugrana looked to fight back but Real’s defense was totally up to the mark. Marcelo made a fantastic stop on Lionel Messi who was through on goal, and then Mariano came on for Karim Benzema and scored in added time to make it 2-0.

Barcelona Assistant coach Sarabia spotted fuming at players

Sarabia, Setien’s assistant, was hysterical during the Clasico at Bernabeu. He did not stop yelling instructions out and also complaining about the players for things he didn’t like at the same time.  Sarabia was caught bemoaning a pass from the back “it’s not a pass to Busi, it’s a pass to the interiors“. He nearly lost his cool when Antoine Griezmann missed a first-half chance. Tribuna confirmed Spanish television channel Vamos capturing Sarabia’s reactions on the sidelines during the match. They also tried lip-reading experts to translate what the 39-year-old said.

Barcelona assistant manager Eder Sarabia’s antics on the touchline of Sunday’s Clasico have been exposed. The Spaniard had a vicious spray of words aimed at French striker Antoine Griezmann. It was quite frustrating for the Catunlya outfit as Lionel Messi and Griezmann both missed golden opportunities. Barca finished with just four shots on goal at the end. There was also a conversation between Sarabia and Setien where the assistant coach tells his boss that Barca is sitting too deep which is causing problems.

Sarabia arrived at Camp Nou with the appointment with Quique Setien in January. He struggled to contain his emotions as his side went down 2-0 to Real Madrid surrendering top spot in La Liga. When Griezmann failed to take an opportunity to score in the first half, Sarabia was quoted as saying: “F*cking hell, Antoine, stick it away!”.
