The January signings made by Barcelona have got them a few match-winning players. They got the likes of Ferran Torres, Adama Traore, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Aubameyang and Traore have especially impressed everyone. Both the players are performing consistently since their arrival at Camp Nou.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a hat-trick against Valencia last week. Traore has not scored since his arrival but has provided assists in almost every match he played. A goal scorer and a playmaker, the duo have been a game-changer for Xavi and his Barcelona.
However the start they got this season was one to forget. They have faced a lot of issues this season. Barcelona is suffering from some financial difficulties even now. The Catalans performing in such conditions must be a booster for the management.
Barcelona News: A dreadful start for the Catalans
FC Barcelona saw the start of the season with their most important player leaving the club. The Catalans lost Lionel Messi as a free agent as he could not sign a new contract with the Blaugranas due to some rules of LaLiga. Lionel Messi left his home and moved to Paris as a free agent.
The Catalans signed Sergio Agüero from Manchester City at the start of the season. The Argentine appeared in just five matches for Barcelona and scored one goal against Real Madrid. After this, Agüero was diagnosed with heart disease which forced him to take early retirement from football.
FC Barcelona saw their early exit from the Champions League after almost 18 years. They got demoted to the Europa League after finishing third in their group in the Champions League. The Catalans only managed to win two matches in the Champions League, both of them coming against Dynamo Kyiv.
The Catalans have made a good comeback after some tough challenges faced by them. They are slowly getting back on track with their performance and they are getting over their issues.

FC Barcelona is currently standing fourth in the LaLiga table. They have won four of their last five league matches, drawing one against RCD Espanyol. They defeated last season’s League Champions Atletico Madrid 4-2 and are looking good since then.
The Catalans have advanced to the Round-of-16 of the UEFA Europa League. After drawing the home leg 1-1 to Napoli, they conquered Naples by winning 2-4 in the away leg. They have a real chance of winning the Europa League this season. If they manage to win, it will be their first Europa League trophy.
Xavi has praised all three of the new signings. “I don’t know what would have happened if they didn’t come,” he said. “It would have been more difficult, that’s clear.”
FC Barcelona will look for their revival. They surely are missing the service of Lionel Messi but they now have a goalscorer and a playmaker to make up for him. The future of Barcelona is slowly building strong and they will look to develop themselves as much as they can.
