Barcelona is ready to bring in four Ajax starlets including Manchester United target Justin Kluivert
The Catalans virtually sealed this season’s La Liga with a 1-0 victory against 2nd place Atletico Madrid. Lionel Messi scored another free-kick to hand Valverde’s men all three points at the Camp Nou. However, the Barca board is not ready to rest on their laurels. They have already started plotting the strategy for next summer’s transfer window, and apparently, Ajax has a huge part to play in that.
As per reports in Diario Gol, Barcelona scouts are continuously monitoring players of the young Ajax squad. Four youngsters, in particular, have impressed the Blaugrana. Matthijs de Ligt, Donny van de Beek, Frenkie de Jong and Justin Kluivert have been earmarked as stars of the future.

Justin Kluivert has attracted interest from several European heavyweights, chief among them being Manchester United. The Red Devils have long been admirers of the Dutchman and there were even talks of a being on the cards for the summer. Now Barcelona leads the chase for the 18-year-old.
Meanwhile, most of Barcelona’s current starting eleven is on the wrong side of the 30s. Pique, Iniesta, Messi and Suarez will start to show their age sooner rather than later, consequently, an influx of youngsters will do the squad a world of good.
The Old Guard to get a much-needed backup in the summer?
After winning Supercopa de Catalunya yesterday (Wednesday), Barcelona will go into the weekend’s clash against Real Betis full of confidence. The crunch clash against Chelsea could cap a great week for the Catalans should they manage to secure passage through to the last-8 of the Champions League.

The Dutch quartet is the backbone of an exciting Ajax team. de Godenzonen share a great relationship with Barcelona going back to the days of the legendary Johann Cruyff and I’m sure a deal can be struck if the runaway La Liga leaders make a concrete offer for either of the aforementioned players.
