The French international, Dembele, had flopped at Camp Nou and has struggled with injuries.
Barcelona looks forward to selling Ousmane Dembele in summer. The young winger transferred to Barcelona in the summer of 2017 but has been massively underwhelming.
The Catalans would be open to offers from various clubs in the coming transfer window. They would be hoping someone would buy the injury-prone player as they aim to raise money for spending on players.

The problem with Dembele
When Dembele joined Barca in 2017, he was hailed as a replacement for Neymar. The Brazilian had left Catalunya for Paris and the club realised that the then Borussia Dortmund forward is exactly what they are looking for. Dembele joined Barca after refusing to train with the Dortmund squad and picking up a fight with the manager. The transfer fee was €105m.
Although he inherited Neymar’s #11 jersey, the signs were not pleasant. Dembele injured his hamstring on his first league start on 17th September and was ruled out for four months. He returned on 2nd January, but again injured himself two weeks later and missed a month of football. In his first season, he played only 20 games and scored only four goals.

The following season he scored goals that helped Barcelona win the Spanish Super Cup and a number of league matches. However, his romance with injuries continued his ankle, muscle, and tendons, and missed a total of 16 games. Although he started the season on a high note, he fizzled out at the end. Cules put the blame on him for their Champions League exit as Dembele missed two easy chances in the first leg. Cules believe had he converted those chances, they would not have faced the humiliation at Anfield.
This season, he has missed more games than he played. He sat out in 40 games due to multiple injuries. In fact, he has missed more games due to injuries than the total goals he has scored in his club career.
It is needless to say that Dembele has been a massive flop at Barcelona, and the Catalans are not ready to keep up with him anymore.
Enter Liverpool?

Surprisingly, Liverpool have been linked with the World Cup winner. It is unsure why Klopp would want him when he is already eyeing Timo Werner.
Spanish football expert Guillem Ballague has expressed the same concern. He said Dembele has issues with professionalism and is not a player suitable for Liverpool.
It is no secret that Dembele would be sold in the summer. Only time will tell who would take the risk to sign him.
