Ousmane Dembele joined Barcelona for a huge £96.8million fee from Borussia Dortmund last summer but injuries have hampered his contributions to the team.
Demblele has made just ten appearances for the Catalan club so far and yet to score one with just one assist for Luis Suarez to his name.
It has not been a great debut season for the 20-year-old in La Liga. He suffered a hamstring injury which led to his handful appearances, while also Phillippe Coutinho’s entry at Camp Nou has restricted the French footballer.
Nou Camp bosses have decided a loan move could help spark the 20-year-old’s career in the summer transfer window, according to El Gol Digital.

He has reportedly told Barcelona chiefs of his interest in a move to Stamford Bridge.
Catalians aim to send Dembele away for a season to give him time to improve and develop on his game. Reports suggest there would be few other clubs who would be interested in signing Dembele.
Barcelona will fight with the Blues on March 14 at Camp Nou for the last 16 second leg of Champions League.
Things have not gone quite well for Dembele at Camp Nou as he had expected. However, there’s no question on his talent. The second leg meet with the Blues might turn to be a decisive match for the young footballer.
