Lionel Messi said Real Madrid benchwarmer James Rodriguez to leave Bernabeu for regular game time. The Argentine met James after the El Clasico last Saturday and advised him to leave the club for regular football.
According to Sportskeeda, James Rodriguez got an advice from Lionel Messi to find a new club to showcase his talent. Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane left James in the bench for El Clasico. It’s not the first time this is happening for the Colombian forward.
Recently, his team-mate Gareth Bale faced an injury and this means James will be able to get a chance to prove his talent infront of Zidane. But this doesn’t mean the Colombian forward will be starting consistently for Real Madrid as the manager prefers other young players in that position.
James Rodriguez joined Real Madrid in 2014 after a tremendous World Cup campaign in Brazil with Colombian national team. He made just 62 appearances for the Spanish side and scored 21 goals in La Liga.
After knowing these entire situation, Messi suggested James to move on from and find another club. Various European clubs including Chelsea and Manchester United are showing their interest in this player.
James Rodriguez plays in several positions in midfield and also in the front line. He will be waiting to find some form.
