Can Deepak Hooda take part in the next season?
It has been confirmed that Hooda will not play this season. However, there are doubts about whether he will play in the next season. The BCA chairman conceded that the Baroda all-rounder can again participate upcoming domestic season which will be held in 2021-22.
Meanwhile, BCA joint secretary Parag Patel expressed that Hooda should not have left the squad like that. “Hooda did the wrong thing by walking out of the team without discussing his issues with the management. But banning him for the entire season was unnecessary. He could have been reprimanded for his act and then allowed to play,” Patel said.
