Woeful defeat of the gunners at Belarus, knocked down the Arsenal’s chief.
The Gunners were beaten 1-0 in Belarus on Thursday night and have plenty to do to reach the last 16. Arsenal’s shock Europa League defeat to BATE Borisov did not go down well among the club’s board members.
The defeat continues a woeful away record for Unai Emery in what is his first season in north London. Several key Arsenal figures had made the trip to watch the encounter and appeared calm and collected as they took their seats before kick-off.

Head of football Raul Sanllehi, managing director Vinai Venkatesham and chief contract negotiator Huss Fahmy were all in attendance. But reports suggested the trio looked far from impressed at full-time. The smiles had been replaced by a look of frustration in the Borisov Arena.
Fahmy is said to have shook his head in disbelief while Vekatesham sat slumped in his chair. It is also claimed Sanllehi headed for the exit soon after kick-off as the defeat knocked the Gunners chiefs.
Arsenal seems out of action this weekend after being knocked out of the FA Cup and their attention is already on the return leg. They must do without Alexandre Lacazette for that one though after his red card.
Author’s Take:
The sole reason for the loss could be the Spanish manager giving more playtime to the new ones while leaving the experienced one’s out. Ramsey, Ozil, Zhaka forms a great trio while Torreira, Iwobi, Quendozi lacks imagination and creativity. Too many unnecessary passes among themselves with no idea as to how to break down the opposition defence.
