Speaking to the media, Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn denied rumours about signing Harry Kane. He said: “I can just say that Harry Kane is an outstanding striker who is now under contract at Tottenham.”
Tottenham have no intention of letting Kane leave the club. The England international’s current contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium expires in 2024 and Spurs want to offer him a new deal.
Romano told the Here We Go Podcast (via Spurs Web): “At the moment everything is perfect between Tottenham and Kane. They want to offer him a new contract to avoid an attempt from Bayern [Munich] for next summer in 2023 and so it is true that Bayern are in love with Harry Kane.”
The Walthamstow-based attacker revealed his desire to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last summer. However, things have changed since the arrival of Antonio Conte in November last year.
Tottenham finished fourth in the PL last term, qualifying for next season’s UEFA Champions League. Conte wants to build his team around Kane and the English striker is happy with the situation.
