Bayern Munich have sent out a warning to Arsenal on Twitter regarding the upcoming Champions League draw next week.
Bayern Munich finished their Champions League group matches at second place in the group. Spanish side Atletico Madrid are the winners of that group. This means, Bayern may have to face Arsenal in the next round of Champions League.
The Gunners played their last group stage match a day ago, and they had a commanding 4-1 win against FC Basel. However, Ludogorets’ 2-2 stalemate against PSG helped Arsenal end up as the group winners. However, the English side has a possibility of facing Bayern Munich in the next round.
It’s the first time, Arsenal finished top in their group since 2011/12 season. However Arsene Wenger’s team will have to face any of the elite European clubs in next round, including Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
After Tuesday’s fixtures, Arsenal Official twitter account made a tweet saying ‘Group Winners.’ And Bayern’s Official US Account fired a warning at Arsenal quoting ‘Should we just book our travel to London now?’

Bayern Munich and Arsenal have faced each other multiple number of times in Champions League the last few years. Bayern kicked out Arsenal in Round of 16 during both 2013 and 2014 seasons. When they met in a group match last year, Bayern registered a massive 5-1 win against this North London club.
Arsenal will be waiting to see whether they will be getting a European heavy-weight or not. The Champions League Round of 16 draw is scheduled to take place on this Monday.
