Big Bash League 2020 Thursday fixture saw a mouth-opening save by Max Bryant. The 21-year-old Australian batsman did a remarkable job on the boundary line to deny Nick Larkin six.
Brisbane Heat won this fixture with the help of DLS against Melbourne Stars, by a thin margin of 4 runs(DLS). Bryant pulls this remarkable save on the second ball of the ninth over. Nick Larkin was on strike, playing some good sky-high shots. Larkin hit four on the first ball of the ninth over, bowled by Lewis Gregory.
Larkin went for another big shot, this time towards and over the mid-on, to deep mid-wicket. He and all spectators thought it was going for maximum. But Bryant had other intentions on the deep mid-wicket. He was an inch away parted by the boundary line, jumped high to catch the ball.
He did catch the ball but while in the air realized he is on the wrong side of the ropes, so he throws out the ball. This type of fielding always help in the end to win matches, this fielding from Bryant saved 4 runs for Brisbane Heat and they came short of 4 runs in the end.
