Former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov is set for a return to his former club to regain fitness before January transfer window.
According to Bulgarian media outlet Sportal, Dimitar Berbatov will arrive at Carrington to train with his former team. Â The 35 year old Bulgarian is a free agent after being released by Greek club PAOK.
In 2008, Dimitar Berbatov joined Manchester United and has scored 56 goals for the Red Devils. He played four years at Old Trafford under Sir Alex Ferguson.

As per latest reports, Berbatov will be training under Jose Mourinho so as to regain his fitness. He will also have a keen eye on how Mourinho works as he plans to become a coach in future.
It is understood that he landed in London on Wednesday and later arrived in Carrington on Thursday. There he will be training with his former team. He might be there in stands watching Manchester City’s Premier League clash with Arsenal on Sunday.
The news regarding Berbatov returning back to training would have alerted some Premier League teams who are looking for a striker in January. But it is highly unlikely for a return to Manchester United squad as Mourinho have already plenty of strikers in the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcus Rashford, Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial.
