Chelsea star Eden Hazard has opened up on his current scenario at Stamford Bridge. He doesn’t seem in a hurry to leave Stamford Bridge anytime soon.
It’s hard to think of Chelsea and not think of Eden Hazard these days. Since his return from injury, the Belgian has been in fantastic form for the Blues under Antonio Conte. The Italian’s team are already playing catch-up with the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United in their attempts to defend the league title.
With all that form, inevitably the rumors are going to come into the picture. Hazard hasn’t helped the situation with his public admiration for Real Madrid and Zinedine Zidane, his idol. He’s had to speak multiple times on the situation and from his latest interview with Onze Mondial, it doesn’t seem like he’s in a rush to leave.

Eden Hazard opens up on his joy at playing for Chelsea
In his interview with Onze Mondial, Hazard revealed his reasons for leaving Lille to join the English club. The Belgian star was a Ligue 1 sensation in his youth days with the French club. He spoke about how great things were at Lille and the fact that he felt the need to change towards the end.
Hazard said,”From the moment things are going well…. When you change, it’s because they aren’t. If, in your job, everything is going well and you’re the boss, would you move? Why would you want to? Plus, you know the people, you’re happy. That’s what happened at Lille, I knew everyone, it was great”
He further spoke about his joy at having played so long for Chelsea. Hazard joined the Blues back in 2012 and his career has been on an upward trajectory ever since.
“Then, when I felt I needed to change, I left. There you go, at Chelsea, it’s the same thing. I’m in my sixth year. My family is here. My wife and kids feel great. I’m not far from Belgium so my family can come quite regularly. I’m in a big club, and I win trophies pretty much every year.” said the Chelsea superstar.
In response to all the rumors surrounding a potential move to Real Madrid and a link-up with his idol Zidane, Hazard doesn’t seem to be paying much attention to them anymore. He said,”I’m here, for now, I’m trying to finish the year as best I can. After that, I’ll have two years left on my deal. We’ll see what happens”
This is a positive sight for Chelsea fans. Given all the rumours surrounding a potential exit, Hazard’s reassurances will certainly have delighted Blues fans who have made him the star of their club. Ahead of a London derby against West Ham United, Hazard will look to prove his love to Chelsea as well as hurt the opposition, which he usually does with ease.
