Yes, the richest cricket body is looking forward to staging the upcoming IPL 2023 auction in mid-December this year, likely to be held on December 16.

Meanwhile, the venue of the IPL 2023 has not been decided yet. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly added that the upcoming season of the IPL will go back to the home and away format.

“The next season of men’s IPL will also go back to the home and away format with all 10 teams playing their home matches at their designated venues,” said BCCI President on the official release of the letters to the state associations.

“The BCCI is currently working on the much-awaited Women’s IPL. We are expecting to start the first season early next year. More details on this will follow in due course,” said Sourav Ganguly when asked about Women’s IPL.
