Both Fury and Jake are supposed to fight a long ago but unfortunately could not. Who is to blame? Fury could have won his biggest payday till now but fate had other plans. This time, Tommy has made it crystal clear that he will be boxing against his bitter rival, Jake Paul.
This time, Tommy tells us he’s confident the two will make it all the way to the ring.“I definitely feel like this fight will happen this time. I’ve said if this fight doesn’t happen it’ll be through no fault of my own,” Tommy says. And, Fury says he badly wants the fight in his recent conversation with TMZ Sports.
“I feel like this is a Wembley [Arena] fight. I feel like it could do 80,000 very comfortably. If you ask anybody walking down the street on Saturday night do they wanna go watch Jake Paul vs. Tommy Fury at Wembley, everybody’s gonna say yes. I believe it’s a massive pay-per-view fight,” Tommy continued while talking about where will the fight happen.
Why Fury vs Jake never happened?
Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury was scheduled a long ago which would have revealed who will be undefeated. But a few weeks prior to this fight, Fury backed out claiming it because of a broken rib. Sadly, both couldn’t meet the second time also since Fury had issues entering The United States.
Tommy was stopped at Heathrow Airport on his way to New York. He was denied entry into the USA by Homeland Security. It should be noted that Tommy’s father John Fury has not been granted a visa by the USA several times because he was involved in a brawl that happened in 2010.
John Fury has launched a scathing tirade upon Jake Paul – claiming that the American is a bum’ and is ‘terrified’ of his son Tommy as the pair prepare to lock horns. John also commented that even if one gives Paul 100 million dollars, he won’t be ready to fight Tommy Fury.
“I don’t think it is about the money, I just think he doesn’t want to lose to Tommy. Tommy will knock him out, he had to put his brakes on in that exhibition, the guy has done us a favour at late notice,” added John Fury.
Did Jake Paul make an expensive offer to Tommy?
Jake Paul has reportedly offered Tommy a massive 2 million dollars to face him in the ring. The news comes after Paul revealed he had sent Fury a seven-figure contract that he claims is six times more lucrative than his previous match.

John Fury has confirmed that he had finalised a verbal agreement with Paul’s Manager and the long-awaited match will be happening in February. The place has not finalised yet but it is expected to take place in London.
