Serie A giants Juventus and AC Milan have concluded a HUGE exchange deal involving Leonardo Bonucci and Gonzalo Higuain.
Chelsea target Gonzalo Higuain is reportedly set to join AC Milan on a loan deal. The Rossoneri have agreed to Juventus’ demands whilst also completing a swap deal for Leonardo Bonucci and Mattia Caldara. The Serie A giants have been in talks for the last couple of weeks, before finally agreeing a huge three player transfer coup.
Higuain, whose position at Juventus was threatened after the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo, will join AC Milan for a loan deal worth €18 million (£16m/$21m). The Rossoneri have an option to purchase Pipita permanently at the end of next season, for approximately €36m (£32m/$42m). Chelsea new manager Maurizio Sarri was reported to be interested in the Argentine’s signature, as the Blues look for a striker after record signing Alvaro Morata’s goal-shy last season.
Huge DRAMA as Milan acquire Higuain and Caldara; Bonucci to reunite with Juve
Milan and Juventus have also agreed on an exchange deal for Leonardo Bonucci and Mattia Caldara. After spending just one season at Milan, Bonucci will reunite with the Old Lady who in turn have sent Caldara the other way. The two clubs have been in discussions but have finally struck a blockbuster three man transfer business.

The two centre-backs were reportedly valued at €35m thereby making it a simple exchange deal. They will return from the US to conclude their respective moves ahead of next season. Higuain, though, will reportedly undergo a medical on Friday in Milan. The Argentine forward was also linked to Chelsea, who will also miss out on Caldara, another reported target of the Blues.
The Italian defender recently joined Juve after starring for Atlanta, but will line up alongside his teammate Higuain in the Red and Black of Milan. Bonucci will reunite with his old club after a hard time with the Rossoneri.
Higuain’s loan and the Caldara-Bonucci swap deal will surely be the biggest deal in the Serie A this summer. AC Milan gets two genuine class players while Juventus get their star leader back. A win-win for both clubs. Chelsea fans please look away. Things have been looking very grim for the Blues, particularly after missing out on two more transfer targets.
