To hype up the release of their latest version of FIFA, EA Sports have made it a habit to slowly unveil the top 100 players in the game just before its launch.
This year is no different as they have revealed the first set of player ratings on Thursday, with more to come in the upcoming days. In the last version of the game, FIFA 18, former Real Madrid ace Cristiano Ronaldo was the cover star and also the best-rated player. Football fans and gamers patiently wait to know who the top rated star will be this time, with many of them expecting Ronaldo to keep his spot.
While Lionel Messi, Luka Modric, Neymar, Mohamed Salah, etc are expected to be in the top 20 list, it is the lowest 20 players of the top 100 that has been unveiled on Thursday. AS Roma defender Kostas Manolas is 100th on the list with an overall rating of 85. Then comes new Manchester City signing Riyad Mahrez, who is then followed by Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Raheem Sterling, Blaise Matuidi, Marco Asensio, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Joshua Kimmich, Edin Dzeko, Koke and Marco Reus occupy the next eight spots. The 89-81 positions are taken by Filipe Luis, Vincent Kompany, Arjen Robben, Alisson Becker, David Alaba, Fabinho, Arturo Vidal, Virgil van Dijk and Diego Costa.
All of the 20 players are rated at 85, with Sterling boasting a remarkable pace of 93.
