Mohamed Salah has hit 40 Premier League goals in just 52 matches and is already into Liverpool’s top ten Premier League goalscorers.
The Egyptian magician is the fastest Liverpool player to hit the 40 goal mark and is doing it with ease. His performance against Bournemouth showcased what a sensational player he is and left no doubts over his quality.
Salah joined The Reds on 12th August 2017 and from that point onwards he has been their star player that Liverpool was in searching since Philippe Coutinho left for Barcelona. The Egyptian international netted 44 goals in the 2017-18 season across all the competitions and this season he has already hit 12 goals. His impact at Liverpool is impeccable and if he continues his form he can soon be a Liverpool legend.
Some of then Football pundits were suggesting that Salah could be a one season wonder as he netted just 3 goals in 11 outings at the beginning of the 2018-19 season and was going through a rough patch but, he silenced his critics with 9 goals in 11 matches after that poor start.
One of the notable things out here is that Mohamed Salah is not an out and out striker, still he manages to score so many goals shows how good a player he is and Liverpool fan will be hoping that there are plenty more to come from this Egyptian star in making.
Salah’s display against Bournemouth took Liverpool to unbeaten 16 matches in the Premier League and made them the league leaders as Manchester City were beaten by Chelsea. Salah’s contribution proved vital for Klopp’s men and he described Salah’s as ” Brilliant ” after the match ended.

Mohamed Salah is a player in the making who could reach the next level in a few years if he continues his consistency. Only two players have hit 40 goal mark in 45 matches i.e Alan Shearer and Andy Cole and I hope Salah can go pass them in the coming future, making him a Liverpool legend.
