Catalan protesters plan to disrupt El Clasico by throwing black Beach Balls on the pitch.
Barcelona takes on biggest rivals Real Madrid in El Clasico on Wednesday evening. The game was initially scheduled for October but was postponed due to Political issues in Barcelona and the security issue of players . Various reports in Spain say Catalan protesters have signed for protest against Tsunami Democràtic. The number of protesters is about 32,000 in numbers and are planning to disrupt during the game.
La Liga chief Javier Tebas due to safety fear with pro-independence protests taking place locally canceled the game in October. But protest group Tsunami Democratic has asked supporters on social media to come together and establish a strategy on how to disrupt the game.
The basic idea of these protesters is to gain exposure of the global audience of this game. The El-Clasico is globally seen by 650M.Local newspaper La Vanguardia reports that one of the ‘surprises’ protestors have a plan to make inflatable beach balls ‘rain’ on the pitch.

The significance of the black beach balls is to represent the rubber balls fired at protesters during the fight for independence, due to which several Catalan independence leaders were sentenced and jailed for their act.
A tweet on Wednesday from Tsunami Democratic has teed up the potential for trouble.
‘Hello, world! Tonight Tsunami has a message for you,’ it read.

In a bizarre twist, Tsunami Democràtic later responded to the claims by saying that was never part of their initial plan. In fact, Tsunami Democràtic itself has confirmed the initiative in some way. In his Twitter account, the independence platform says it was not planned, but calls his followers to go to Camp Nou with “inflatable balls” to consider it “a good idea.”
It’s a big test for Barcelona’s security as will they be able to measures and stop such items entering the stadium. However, it is also reported that the club has drafted in close to 2,000 private security guards for the event, in addition to 1,000 police officers.

There were initial reports that both teams will travel together on Wednesday due to security reasons. But there s no clear indication of it.
Later Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane confirmed that the two sides would arrive together as a safety precaution. Zidane said at his pre-match press conference:
“That’s something different for us. We’ve been told that we have to leave together and that’s what we’ll do. There’s nothing else to explain. The important thing is that the game goes ahead. We’ve got to put all of our energy into performing on the pitch and have to believe that it’ll go ahead. Tomorrow we’ll have a game of football to play.”
However, the security has denied it comment by Zidane. He told on a radio show named ‘El Larguero’ that Barcelona team will be followed by the Real Madrid team due to security reasons.
