India vs New Zealand: When New Zealand hosted India in November of last year, the majority of the action was halted by rain. After playing a series in Pakistan, New Zealand is currently travelling to India.
Indian cricket team and New Zealand Cricket Team enter the series with victories under their belts, with India defeating Sri Lanka and New Zealand winning a tough ODI series against Pakistan by a score of 2-1. The visitors enter the series as the top team in the world after winning seven of their previous eight bilateral series.
India still does not have Jasprit Bumrah, who has been dealing with a back problem for several months, for the start of the series. KL Rahul will also miss the ODIs, and the spot will be filled by untested wicketkeeper KS Bharat. Arshdeep Singh is not included in the India team, but Shardul Thakur is. With Adam Milne and Matt Henry, both ruled out of the series, New Zealand is dealing with its injury issues.
After participating in Pakistan’s Test and ODI series, Kane Williamson and Tim Southee will be rested for the series. Against India, Tom Latham will take over as captain.
