Chelsea closing in on Transfer of World class Real Madrid star.

Real Madrid ace, James Rodriguez has confessed that he could be on the move coming January transfer window after being left frustrated due to lack of game time at the record champions league winners, Real Madrid.

Colombian International is attracting interest from every top club in Europe but English heavyweights, Chelsea seem to be the most interested club in the midfielder.

Rodriguez in his recent interview said, “I can’t guarantee that I’ll stay at Real Madrid after the winter window,” Rodriguez said after Madrid’s Club World Cup win this weekend.

“I have offers and seven days to think.”

Chelsea is witnessing a great start under their new boss Antonio Conte, under whom the Blues have now gone on an 11 wins run and are looking to be running away with the title as their rivals are slipping away.

Bookmakers Beltway have kept the odds by 5/2 in the favor of the Blues to sign the Real Madrid star.

The 25 years old is very keen on a move away from Santiago Bernabeu to get the game time on the pitch.

According to newspaper El Tiempo the 25 years old has flown to his native country and visited the British Embassy to file for the UK Visa before his potential move to England with Chelsea and Manchester United looking to make a move for the Colombian.

Also, with the impending £50m transfer of Blues’ Brazilian star, Oscar to Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua, Chelsea will be looking to use the money to get James.

Antonio Conte is also known to be a huge admirer of the Colombian and this could play a huge part in the player’s transfer to the London side as Conte is set to sit with the Chelsea officials to discuss about the transfer plans in January to build upon the great start they’ve had this season.

Also, with Real Madrid ban on transfers for two seasons having been reduced to one, Los Blancos will be more than content to cash in on the out of favor, James Rodriguez to pave way for incoming reinforcements.
